Art 5 years apart

Those "art 5 years apart" art trains are going around on Twitter, but I can't write a huge essay on Twitter so art train goes here instead. Those 3 pieces are the ones I consider the most successful in terms of illustrating a whole scene... which basically means they're the ones I was actually thinking of the background as part of the piece rather than an afterthought.

Solar Eclipse

Yesterday we went on a short trip to watch the eclipse as a company outing. I don't know much about eclipses and I don't think I'd have made the time and effort to see it otherwise, so I'm happy we had this.

I went to Toronto Game Expo this weekend!

I finally did my first artist alley here in Canada! It wasn't a very big con, but the sales were good enough to make the table back and it was a very good opportunity to get started. I didn't talk to as many people as I wanted (shyness very strong), but the few I did talk to were very nice and fun!

Cooking chicken hearts

I really like cooking, mostly because I really like eating, and since I'm a baby that refuses to not eat deliciously every single meal I end up spending a lot of my day cooking. I don't post about if often for a bunch of reasons, the biggest one being that I'm very bad at plating and I'm kinda embarrassed at how not pretty my pictures look. I'm trying to get over that so here's the last culinary experiment: braised chicken hearts!

A lot of people assume she's inspired by Splatoon, but she actually started as an Undertale monstersona. She was a tentacle head monster that's so shy she's always hiding her face with the tentacles. I codename her Tullip because I have a thousand sonas and the tentacles kinda look like a tullip flower (...)

Talking about my cats

Last week my baby cat Horus passed away.

I regret not mourning properly last time a cat of mine passed away, so I wanted to spend some time talking about my cats and reliving memories. I feel a lot of guilt for leaving them behind with my dad when I moved countries, but I don’t want to forget our good times together and how much I loved them, and they loved me.
